Your booking is only confirmed once the fee has been paid. Your allocated slot is considered open for reassignment should payment not be received within 48 hours of the session.

Free cancellations or requests for postponement are possible up to 24 hours before a booked session.

Requests for postponement within 24 hours of the booked session will be considered on a case by case basis, but cannot be guaranteed to be free of charge.

Privacy and confidentiality are non-negotiable for our therapeutic relationship to work.

All information discussed during our sessions will be kept strictly private and confidential, and I will not share this information with any third party unless compelled by law (for example, if you or someone else is at risk of serious harm).

Please note that in accordance with UK professional standards for counsellors and therapists, I do receive regular supervision, which involves anonymously discussing client cases.

As a qualified counsellor, my professional practice follows the code of ethics set out by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, which means there are ethical limits to my practice.

• I am unable to provide a medical diagnosis or prescribe medication.

• I am unable to adequately support clients with serious psychiatric disorders (e.g. psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, severe substance use and addiction disorders). Please consult with a medical professional to receive appropriate support in these instances.

Should I find that my ability to support you is beyond my professional capacity and capability, I will do my best to either refer you to another professional or offer a recommendation to ensure you receive the appropriate level of care.
